Functional blood analysis
Standard lab ranges are built to flag disease. Functional ranges are narrower, so they can show trends earlier. We read your blood work both ways and explain what we see.
How it works
- At your first visit we decide together which tests make sense for you, and we tell you the cost before ordering.
- Blood work is ordered by Dr. Schmidt and drawn at a partner lab near you.
- At your report visit we go through every marker with you and show where it sits against standard and functional ranges.
- The results shape your nutrition guidance and plan. We can repeat tests later to see how things have changed.
What it is not
A functional interpretation of your blood work is not a diagnosis. If something needs medical attention, we tell you and refer you to your primary care provider.
Available to patients of both offices. Omaha patients can have their blood drawn at a partner lab in Omaha.
