Dr. Mary Schmidt, DC

Doctor of chiropractic with a functional medicine approach. Sees patients in the Olympia office and, one week each month, in the Omaha office.

Dr. Mary Schmidt found chiropractic as a patient. A sports injury at 16 led her to a chiropractor, and the care she received set the direction for her career.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Nebraska and her Doctor of Chiropractic at Logan College of Chiropractic in 1980. She went on to serve as clinic director of a practice in Ralston, Nebraska.

Over the years she added post-graduate training in toxicity and detox and in methylation, so she could look past the spine to blood chemistry, genetics and nutrition. Today she brings those together with chiropractic care to help patients understand what is contributing to how they feel.
